Chaves County, New Mexico House District 59 Chaves County is served by House Districts 57, 58, 59 and 66*.    District 59 is broken into two unconnected parts: the southwest block and a narrow strip that surrounds Highway 70 and extends from Ruidoso to the west side of Roswell. * Democrat Alfredo Dominguez III ran for the open seat in District 59 in 2000, receiving 30% of the vote. Redistricting in 2001 put him in HD 66.
